Tuesday evening May 27th - Bart’s House 6:30-8:30PM. I will provide the brats. Bring your favorite beverage and your Bible. The fire pit is a men’s gathering to promote spiritual growth for men at Grace Covenant and to pray for one another.
This second gathering we will be discussing, family discipleship..Specifically the role of husband as spiritual leader of the family. Come and share and learn how other men are leading their families in family worship. How regularly? What materials and resources do you use if any? Do you sing with your family? What books or podcasts have helped you develop your family worship time? How do you incorporate what we do at church?
This will be a bi-monthly event on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday throughout the summer. Guest are welcome.

May 18th - Directly after the service on Sunday. Bring some food to share! We will eat and enjoy fellowship with one another.

Our first gathering we will be discussing - Patriarchy as God’s design for the family and patriarchy’s sinful distortions. We will answer the questions:
What is biblical patriarchy? What is it not?
How to guard against its abuses in our lives and in the church?
Where are the common points of failure when it comes to male headship? Where do you find it easy to fail as a leader of your wife and children.
When it is going right…How is biblical patriarchy expressed in your family? How do you practically lead your wife and children when a decision needs to be made?
